Dog Watch of Litchfield is the BEST!!!
I highly recommend DogWatch for your hidden fence needs. Great local business with owners who are truly passionate about what they do. This hidden fence system lets my dog run freely around the yard and I know she is safe from the busy road that is in front of our house. An absolute must for a dog owner.

Look no further! You have found your dog fence guy!! If you are looking for someone to install/maintain an electric dog fence....Rob and his trainer (Liz) are amazing! We actually had our Dog Watch dog fence installed a couple of years ago by a different individual; however, we have a 140lb dog that has continually blown through the fence despite all our efforts and all the installers suggestions. In addition, there were major electrical issues with the installation of the fence. Enter....Rob and Liz. AMAZING! Liz came out and worked with our big guy and got him to recognize the signal (before getting shocked) which the installer never did. Rob trouble shot our electrical issue that was affecting our neighbors dog fence, reran some of the wiring, fixed the frequency on the dog collars and all is well and working perfectly. We couldn't be more satisfied with Rob and his crew. They are amazing and such kind dedicated people. If you need a dog fence and want your dogs trained right.....this is the crew you need to hire!

go with Dog Watch before he even arrived at my house. He was so attentive to our needs and very accommodating to our time frame. I never felt like I was dealing with a salesman, just someone who has a quality product wanted to help a new dog family out. Installation was quick and easy and Rob made sure I was comfortable with the fence and the settings before he left. Liz was the trainer who came to our house for training and again AMAZING! All she wanted was to make sure that our Ellie was grasping her new collar and the fence. She was patient and kind, it is clear she absolutely loves her job and animals. We have had our fence for 5 months now and Rob continues to stay in touch and check in on Ellie. I have never met someone so devoted to his business and his clients. He treats all of his customers like family! I highly recommend using Rob and Dog Watch for your electric fence needs.

From the minute Rob came to talk to us and heard our crazy ideas to give our puppy (who wasn’t even here with us yet) the most free space, down to the training was seamless. We wanted our puppy to be able to play in our brook and in the woods. Whatever we asked, Rob made it happen! When we finally got down to the training, Liz gave us such great training tips that have saved us that went beyond the invincible fence training. All the questions we had, she answered and showed us how to make it happen. Our dog Ollie picked up the training with ease and our daughter (8 years old) took the training very seriously, Liz involved everyone in our family. Throughout the whole process, Rob checked in to see how the training was going. This company takes their product very seriously and to make sure the dogs are successful every step of the way. I asked my daughter her thoughts of the invisible fence and she said “I like it, I just feel safe because I know he won’t run out and get hurt now”. I highly recommend Dog Watch of Litchfield County to anyone looking to give your dog more freedom and to know your fur baby will be safe. I can’t thank Rob and Liz enough for all the help during the whole process!

Rob and his Team and true professionals who really care about what they do. Our Labrador was 5 when we got the fence installed because we moved. Daisy was a tough one to train but Rob and Liz did not give up on her! She was trained in no time and they made sure she was contained to our yard and that I was comfortable with her training progress. You can tell a lot of heart goes into this business, very happy we chose them!

I would highly recommend using Dogwatch of Litchfield County.
We adopted a very energetic PUP and I never believed we would be able to have her outside without being on leash.
Working with Rob and Liz ( Dogwatch dog whisperer)was enjoyable, professional and without any problem from start to finish.
Today Willow graduated from training and we are looking forward to not only enjoying our time with her outside but also knowing she is safe.

We have two dogs, one is a runner, bolting any chance he gets. We met with Rob and had the Smartfence installed. It has been great! No more runaways! Liz was very dedicated and worked with us and the dogs to make sure it was successful! It is so nice to be able to let the dogs out and run in the yard without worrying about them running, getting lost, aggravating the neighbors or getting hit by cars. We highly recommend Dogwatch of Litchfield county. We love it so much we are buying a system for our daughter and son in law as a Christmas gift for them and their dog!

I can’t say enough good things about Rob. I was extremely hesitant and paranoid about having an electric fence. We have a husky and we are very close to a main road so I was super afraid of him getting out. Rob assured me that they will make sure Tito is fully trained to the fence and that I was fully comfortable with him being alone in the yard. I have been extremely high maintenance when it comes to asked questions and having them come out and adjust things but nothing was too much for Rob. He truly cares about the dog and wants to make sure everything is perfect for you so not only are you comfortable but so is your dog. I will never use another electric fence company and I %1000 recommend this company!

The trainer was very knowledgeable. My adopted puppy has gained so much confidence since it was installed. We accidentally cut the wire on a Saturday and Rob came the same day. Very happy customers. Highly recommend 😊

Dogwatch of Litchfield County did a great job installing our dog fence. Liz trained the dogs in less than a week and followed up to make sure everything was still okay. Dave who installed the fence was truly professional, detailed, and pushed the boundary as far as he could to make sure our dogs had the maximum amount of area to roam. And Rob the owner has continually followed up with us to be sure everything is working properly. You don't see customer service like this elsewhere nowadays. I would highly recommend Dogwatch. It's great being able to let our dogs out without fear of them running into the road or into other neighbor's yards!

We just had DogWatch of Litchfield County install our fence a couple of months ago. Best thing ever. We have two new puppies and living on the main road we don’t have to worry.. Our puppies love the freedom of running around the yard and we love that we don’t have to worry about them leaving.. The trainer was amazing and these two learned quickly to avoid the fence.. Highly recommend.

Recently I decided to get an invisible fence for my dog, a yellow lab mix. Based on a recommendation, I met with Rob and decided to go with his system. The DogWatch system, combined with the excellent training by Chris, has allowed Brady to now roam and run freely in my yard and stay out of trouble. He seems to enjoying the freedom. Thrilled to have made the decision to go with Dogwatch of Litchfield County! Rob and his trainer, Liz, are super responsive, and really ensured everything was done to our satisfaction and that both of our dogs are trained to what we would expect out of an invisible fence. We had our doubts about whether or not one of them would be able to respond to it but she’s doing great and we have a great sense of ease letting them outside off leash while we’re inside or around the other side of the yard. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Dogwatch of Litchfield County, and I highly recommend this business. They are very professional with a personal touch. Every encounter I had with Rob and his team indicated that the safety of my puppy was their highest priority. The young woman that came out to see our property and give us an estimate was prompt, courteous, and answered all my questions. Liz, the dog trainer did an amazing job with our Fido. She clearly love dogs, and she even texted me two weeks later to check on how he was doing. Throughout the entire process Rob always promptly returned my phone calls, answered my questions, and made sure we were happy every step of the way. We were very hesitant to install a fence because our dog had so many fears being outside. Rob spent a lot of time going over everything with us. Liz is amazing with dogs. Bailey took to her immediately. They both worked with us until we were confident this was the right thing for us. Rob did many check ins with us knowing that Bailey was skittish and training had to go slow with her. He cares about his customers and is going to stay with you from start to finish. He is always there to answer questions and gets back to you immediately. Today Bailey loves being outside, she loves the freedom she has in the yard and no longer has any of her initial fears of being outside. You cannot go wrong choosing this company.

I had the Dog Watch system installed at my mom's house for her two dogs and they love their new found freedom. I have an Invisible Fence system from 2002 and I was done with their outrageous fees, it's a huge inconvenience to have to drive to them in Salisbury. My mother's dog's come up to my house a lot and I dog sit my cousins dog. We live on about 2 acres of open land and I didn't want to have to worry about Max or Pharoah running off after deer, bears or the neighborhood barn cats. I called invisible fence because I would need two brand new collars because my German Shepherd's collar wouldn't fit and the receivers are for stubborn dogs. New collars with Invisible Fence would be over $300, each plus they would charge a fee for the first 15 minutes to program the collars AND an additional outrageous fee to do training. I was furious! So, I called Rob and asked if he could help. Unfortunately, Invisible Fence brand makes sure they are the only one's to maintenance the collars. I told Rob, "Ok, I'm done with them, come switch Invisible Fence to Dog Watch." He was there two days later. It was fabulous! So quick and easy. He swapped out the box, placed the flags and tested the wire. Done. I requested Liz again to do the training because I knew she would be a great fit for Pharoah. She really knows how to interact with dog's so they aren't afraid of her after she trains. She came over a couple of times to train over the weekend with Pharoah, Max is very smart and saw the flags and stayed away from them. Pharoah got shocked a few times, but now he is running free. I don't have to worry about his long line getting wrapped around the tree or around his legs. The long line has already caused an injury. If you have an Invisible Fence and sick of all the fees and limitations with that brand, it's time to upgrade. The absolute BEST feature that I love is the fact that I can control the settings on the collar. We plan on getting more dogs, so it will be nice to not have to drive 1.5 hours away or pay a service charge to have Invisible Fence to adjust the settings as the pup gets older and more confident.

Great Product and Great service. DogWatch has done a tremendous job with our electric dog fence.
Every step of the process was done very professionally. From our free estimate by Chris and her follow up visits. The installation done in one hassle free day, with very knowledgeable and professional installers. And since we chose the product with the 4 training sessions that was very beneficial as well.
